Uncle Eric Gets Married!!!!

November 4th, 2006, my brother, Eric, got married to the most spirited, loving and beautiful young chic, Nichol, in Watertown, SD.

Sawyer and Spencer were ushers and Spencer played his trumphet as Nichol walked in. Barry and Ethan were groomsmen and I was a bridesmaid.

We had a wonderful time. And as always, the time went by too fast but we will treasure it forever. For those of you that were at the wedding, we so enjoyed our visits, short or long, or just seeing you. It is hard being so far away but it makes our time together more precious. It may be hard on some to see us leave but it is even harder for us since we are the ones leaving. We LOVE you all very much!!!

We are so blessed to have Nichol in our family and we absolutely adore her!!! She is now Auntie Nichol!!!

Ethan's First Day of School

Here is Ethan's first day of school. Big 3rd grader!!! Mornings are still slow for him-go figure!!! There is no such thing as RUSHING in his world unless it has to do with baseball or football. He is doing excellent but homework is something he feels he shouldn't have to do. Math homework, Monday thru Wednesday. Reading everyday for 20 minutes. Geography test Thursdays and Friday, spelling and math tests. They pour it on in 3rd grade and at orientation stressed that this is one of hardest years for what they have to cover. He just finished painting his bird feeder, orange, this evening. Orange is his favorite color.

Frick and Frack's First Day of School

Here are Frick and Frack's first day of school pix. Big 6th graders. They are in the GOLD pod this year but like last year different homerooms. Frick's teacher is due Aug. 30th and will return after Thanksgiving break so long term sub has been sitting in on class. Frack's teacher is great and he has chosen to play the trumpet. My Christmas gift now includes ear plugs-hee hee. Frick chose art instead of band which is just up his alley. They get themselves up, shower, and have breakfast all by themselves. Then it is time for ESPN SportsCenter. Then off to the bus stop just at the corner by our house around 8 am. They are very responsible about the school thing. Wish I could say that about their rooms and laundry!!!
